Our History

Girrafe exporters Ltd was incorporated on may 21st 2007 to grow process and export fresh fruits and vegetables from Kenya. Girrafe exporters Ltd has its registered office in Nairobi-Kenya about 31/2 kilometers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, off North Airport Road.

The company has a staff of approximately 30 people, both permanent and seasonal employees. We believe that over 1000 people benefit directly and indirectly through our farming activities throughout the country.

Our vision is to be the exporter of choice (out of Kenya) to all our current and future customers. We guarantee unsurpassed service levels to our customers at all times.

Quality Policy Statement

Girrafe exporters Ltd is committed to providing its customers with high quality fresh vegetables and fruits. To this end, we undertake to implement the necessary requirements to achieve the highest possible standards on Food Safety, quality and legality throughout our production and processing chain. The top management shall ensure that this policy is appropriately implemented and communicated to its entire staff and more importantly to those at the supervisory level. This shall be achieved through inclusion into the quality manual and induction process for new staff as well as being displayed at strategic locations including the reception area and notice boards for all staff and visitors to be made aware. This quality policy shall be regularly reviewed to ensure its appropriateness to meet requirements.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to produce and supply our customers with high quality fresh produce through the effective use of highly qualified and motivated staff, suppliers and business partners. We believe in showing respect for our employees, customers and suppliers, while conducting our business affairs honestly, fairly and with integrity.

Through good agricultural practices, we ensure that facilities within our company farms and out growers as well meet the standards stated in our internal controls and standards operating procedures as well as respecting national and international food safety standards, worker Health and Safety, Wildlife Conservation, Quality management and Environmental Management. Such endeavors provide sustained income opportunities for farming communities and support the continued development of the Kenyan Agricultural industry.
